In Chantilly, Virginia.
At the Udvar-Hazy Center of the National Air and Space Museum, near Dulles Airport. The gorgeous backside of the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird. Behind where I stood taking this picture, is the space shuttle Discovery. Apparently, on its last flight en route to the museum, it was flown from Los Angeles to Washington DC in just over an hour. That’s faster than the typical commute within Los Angeles or DC.
