In Brasilia, Brasil.
The award-winning JK Bridge in Brasilia, crossing the Paranoa Lake. Brasilia is a strange city with a weird history and a handful of quirky landmarks, like the JK Bridge, named after former Brasilian president Juscelino Kubitschek, who oversaw the construction of Brasilia as the country’s new capital in the late 1950s.
The crisscrossing suspension arches are meant to evoke a stone skipping across the lake’s surface. Very cool…small scale (low and short) but impressive nonetheless.
