At the Bahia Marina, boats are parked near a couple of centuries-old forts. It’s ironic that a fort like the one pictured here, Forte do Mar built in the mid-17th century, was built to resist an invasion of boats coming in, and now it’s a landmark for boaters to know they’re in the right place to dock freely when enjoying some boating fun.
