On this Easter Sunday, the spirit of renewal and resurrection amidst the ongoing COVID pandemic brings hopefulness. The promise of the spread of vaccination and new treatments for the illness, not just the spread of the disease, springs optimism for finally turning the corner on this year-long dread that has robbed far too many of life and livelihood. All’s not clear, though. Let’s continue masking up, staying safely distant, and washing our hands (such softly simple suggestions) to win this worldwide battle once and for all.
