Don’t miss The Getty if you like art and want something to do for a half-day around L.A. You might even see a celebrity. When we went here, we spotted Peter Bergman, who’s played Jack Abbott on The Young and the Restless since 1989, hanging out with who appeared to be his mother.

A nice monorail ride from the parking area up to the grounds, cool fountains, awesome gardens, and great views of the city and the amazing homes around the hills are just some of the unexpected delights from a visit here.
